Contacting St John’s with Concerns

If you are worried or anxious about something at St John’s which is unsettling your child, you must get in touch with us immediately. Our switchboard number is 01672 516156. The Receptionists are very experienced and totally discreet so when telephoning a brief outline of the problem or question will enable them to refer you to the correct member of staff. The Student Planner is also a useful means of communicating with a particular teacher. We ask students to bring to the notice of parents or staff any comments contained within the Student Planner.

You will usually make contact in the first instance with our Student Managers who will refer you on to your child’s College Principal as necessary. Our Student Managers are:

  • Blue & Yellow Colleges – Ms Laura O’Brien
  • Green & Red Colleges – TBA

If you wish to meet with your child’s College Principal it is important that under normal circumstances you make an appointment, as the College Principal may be teaching. Making an appointment also enables us to assemble the necessary information and therefore make the meeting as useful as possible. If you wish to discuss a matter of general Academy policy, then you may wish to see the Principal as well and this will be arranged. We are committed to resolving any problem or concern that you may have.

Parent Support Advice

Our Parent Support Adviser acts as a bridge between home and St John’s. PSAs can provide emotional and practical help to parents and carers and a listening ear for any worries that parents may have. A PSA can also help parents access additional support.

Our Parent Support Adviser is Ms Lisa Feeney: LFeeney@stjohns.wilts.sch.uk
